Man's Neck Shall Be Broken

The Prophecy, The Prophecy, The Prophecy, The Prophecy, The Prophecy, The Prophecy, The Prophecy, The Prophecy, The Prophecy

The brain transmits its message, from the neck down through the spine. But if the neck is broken, the spine can become severed and the body can become paralyzed. And spine is derived from the Latin word spina which means “sharp” and paralysis is derived from the Greek root paralyein which means “feeble and weak”. And on that Day, His sharp sword shall break every neck that is feeble and weak. For He shall make every hand feeble and every knee weak.

The neck is the section which connects the head to the body. And His people connect His Word to the body of mankind. And the yoke is a bar which lies across two necks, and distributes the work between two oxen. And the yoke of this world lies across two necks, for the work was divided between Esau and Jacob. But the yoke of their work was unbalanced from the beginning. For Rebekah deceived her husband, by covering Jacob’s neck with a goat. “Then Rebekah took the best garments of Esau her elder son, which were with her in the house, and put them on Jacob her younger son. And she put the skins of the young goats on his hands and on the smooth part of his neck.” (Genesis 27:15-16) And Isaac conceded to Esau, that the yoke of his children would be heavy. “Isaac his father answered and said to Esau, ‘Behold, away from the fertility of the earth shall be your dwelling, and away from the dew of heaven from above. By your sword you shall live, and your brother you shall serve; but it shall come about when you become restless, that you will break his yoke from your neck.’” (Genesis 27:39-40) And the yoke of Esau’s children soon shall be broken. For “the LORD of hosts has sworn saying, ‘Surely, just as I have intended so it has happened, and just as I have planned so it will stand, to break Assyria in My land, and I will trample him on My mountains. Then his yoke will be removed from them and his burden removed from their shoulder. This is the plan devised against the whole earth; and this is the hand that is stretched out against all the nations. For the LORD of hosts has planned, and who can frustrate it? And as for His stretched-out hand, who can turn it back?’”(Isaiah 14:24-27)
